was the love from the first sight: wrought iron outside,
bells on the tower, beautiful marble and granite entry
led us to a nicely tiled bathroom and cozy room with
decent furniture
I always sleep well in this hotel amused how close Highway
5 is. Somehow, the noise never reaches the hotel. The
hilltop location makes it safe and breezy - find the
location perfect for the travelers.
I
love to browse the little mall down from the hotel:
Tuesday Morning is there, a very nice book store, nail
salon plus a waffle place and other eateries. I find
it very convenient considering that this mall is not
crowded at all, and nobody is wandering up the hill
through the hotel property covered with bright blooming
plants.
You
can easily walk to the beach and the hotel manager on
duty would gladly give you directions. I never had a
chance to have dinner in San Clemente as our business
partners always make reservations elsewhere, but after
reading travelers' comments on this website I want to
try couple of local places next time we are in San Clemente.

been always lucky to experience a warm hospitality at
this hotel and I am looking forward to staying there
again and again during our business trips to So. Cal.”
